Robert E. King is a well-known and respected Western New York PGA Professional. Bob has been the Club Professional at Lakeside Country Club since 2005. Prior to joining Lakeside he was the head pro at Caledonia Country Club from 1999 to 2004 and before that the head pro at Old Hickory Golf Club in Livonia, NY from 1990-98. Bob was named the 2021 PGA Professional of the Year, the section's highest honor and serves on the Board of Directors of the Western NY PGA. Bob offers his expertise by providing lessons for all skill levels and manages a fully-stocked Pro Shop complete with golf and pickleball equipment and clothing. Featured brands are Titlelist, Cobra, Footjoy, Ping, Antigua, EP Pro and Maui Jim sunglasses. The Western NY PGA has named Bob their Merchandiser of the Year five times.

Cara is Lakeside’s clubhouse manager responsible for smoothly managing the daily dining, kitchen, catering and banquet services. Since joining Lakeside in 2017 she has planned, staged and orchestrated hundreds of club and community events with unparalleled talent and creative flair. Born and raised in Penn Yan, Cara earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saint Leo University in Florida in 2011.  She lived and worked in Florida for several years before returning to the area in 2015 when she started her hospitality management career.

Joe Champion has been a golf course superintendent for 27 years and has been at Lakeside for seven years, since 2016. Before Lakeside, Joe worked at Vestal Hills Country Club in Binghamton, NY. Originally from Watkins Glen, NY, he went to college majoring in Agronomy at Horry Georgetown in South Carolina. Joe then began his career in Myrtle Beach as an assistant at Arcadian Shores Golf Club then went on to become superintendent at Cypress Bay Golf Club.
