Lakeside Country Club offers you an opportunity to participate in the fastest growing sport in America: Pickleball! In the summer of 2018, the Club completed construction of two outdoor pickleball courts perched on a hill with scenic views. The courts have been filled with sounds of pickleballs and laughter ever since.
The pickleball courts are open to all golfing members of the Club. In addition, for non-golfers the Club offers a limited number of both individual and family pickleball memberships. Please contact the business office for full details.
Booking of the courts is managed through the "TeamReach" app. To be added to the app to book, contact either Judy Erwin (315-759-9068) or Nancy Feinstein (607-664-6159). Once in the app member players can schedule play when the courts are not reserved for Club Events (including Open Play). Paddles are available for rent.
LCC Pickleball Players may reserve the courts on the LCC TeamReach App and bring guests (except during open play or events). The members and their guests need to sign in at the Pro Shop prior to play, sign a release, and pay the guest fee ($10 per person). Guest may play ip to 3 times without formally joining.

So what is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle sport that is similar in some ways to tennis, badminton, racquetball, and ping-pong. It is usually played as a “doubles” game with 4 players, and can also be played as a “singles” game. It is a fun game designed for all levels of skilled players, from beginners to advanced. The game was created by three families in Seattle, WA many years ago and the first court was in a backyard. As the story goes, it was given the name “pickleball” because a pet dog Pickles loved to chase the balls. There are now national and international professional pickleball organizations!
